"Commemorating the 50th anniversary of the original DB4GT Zagato, Aston Martin--in collaboration with Zagato--created an elegant and vivacious concept car. The V12 Zagato (Villa d’Este) debuted at the prestigious Concorso d’Eleganza Villa D’Este in Italy and won the "Best in Class" award for Concept and Prototypes. The next month, the car went on to compete at Germany’s Nürburgring, including the 24 Hour race where it performed flawlessly. The V12 produces 510 bhp, the brakes are ventilated carbon ceramic and it uses a carbon fiber driveshaft. With a top speed north of 185 mph and equipped with a full roll cage and a plastic driver’s-side window this car is ready to race. All it needs is a driver and maybe a custom livery to make it your own."
—Official description[1]

The 2012 Aston Martin V12 Zagato - abbreviated as "AM V12 Zagato" and also known as "Aston Martin V12 Zagato Villa d'Este" - is a front-engine, rear-wheel drive sports car by Aston Martin.

It appears in Forza Motorsport 4 as part of the March Pirelli Car Pack and all subsequent main series titles up to Forza Motorsport 7.

It appears in Forza Motorsport 5 as part of the Meguiar's Car Pack and in Forza Motorsport 6 as part of the VIP Membership.

Synopsis[]

The V12 Zagato was introduced in the 2011 event of the Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este to celebrate Aston Martin's 50 year partnership with Italian coachbuilder Zagato, which resulted in models like the DB4 GT Zagato. It was put into a limited production run that ended in 2012.

The V12 Zagato features the 5.9 litre V12 engine from its Vantage model derivate with identical specifications. Its chassis received a series of racing modifications for improved handling such as a retuned suspension, a front lip and rear wing.[2]

Its kerb weight is officially estimated to be the same as on the V12 Vantage although it is featured with a lower weight, that is 3197 lb (1450 kg), in Forza Motorsport 4 and Forza Horizon.[3]
