The 2016 Audi R8 V10 plus is part of the second generation of the Audi R8 supercar and the successor to the 2013 Audi R8 Coupé V10 plus 5.2 FSI quattro. It shares its technical automobile platform with the Lamborghini Huracán LP 610-4.
The most powerful production Audi car of all time, the second-generation Audi R8 V10 plus's engine is an improved version of Audi's 5.2L (5,204 cc), 40-valve naturally aspirated V10 with power rated at 602 hp (449 kW) at 8,250 rpm and torque rated at 413 ft·lb (560 N·m) at 6,500 rpm. The Audi R8 V10 plus uses a seven-speed S-Tronic transmission and is capable of doing 0-60 mph within less than 3 seconds and a top speed of 205 mph (330 km/h). The R8 V10 plus now uses a fixed carbon fiber rear wing to help generate more downforce than the previous-generation model.

The Audi R8 V10 plus, with traits typical of AWD supercars, boasts a very quick acceleration (0-60 mph (97 km/h) in 2.7 seconds), a high top speed, and responsive handling, all improvements over the first-generation R8. Comparable to the Lamborghini Huracán, the R8 V10 plus has a slightly higher top speed of 218 mph (351 km/h), but shows more understeer and slightly longer braking distances due to its weight.
Trivia
- The Audi R8 V10 plus's in-game power output is erroneously shown as 610 hp (455 kW). 610, however, is its power output in metric horsepower (PS), which would make its actual power output 602 hp (449 kW).
