"If the local grocery store or soccer field is half a state away, the RS 6 Avant should be your car of choice. Why? Because the Avant can get a family of five and their gear from point A to point B at speeds that would only qualify as “absurd.” Under its gorgeous composed form is a lightweight, mostly aluminum chassis. Beneath the hood is a twin-turbo V8 with enough juice to put this wagon in the supercar category. More than 500 horsepower and the accompanying torque put through Audi’s proven AWD system give this wagon the tools to get the job done, whether it be on tarmac, the back roads, or any path set before it. Restyled for 2015, the RS 6 is fresher than ever and ready to blow your mind as well as the doors off most anything that comes within striking distance."—Official description[1]
The 2015 Audi RS 6 Avant - abbreviated as "Audi RS 6 '15" - is an executive car by Audi.
It appears in the NAPA Auto Parts Car Pack for Forza Horizon 2, and in all subsequent main series titles except for Forza Horizon 3.
Synopsis[]
The 2015 RS 6 Avant, codenamed C7, is the third iteration of the Audi RS 6 and the successor to the 2009 RS 6. The C7 was designed for greater efficiency while improving performance by using a smaller engine and having less weight than its predecessor.[2]
Unlike previous models, the RS 6 Avant has solely been available in a wagon body style but has also available been in a liftback body style as the RS 7 Sportback.
Variants[]
Forza Edition[]
In Forza Motorsport 7, a Forza Edition version of the Audi RS 6 Avant was leaked in the game prior to release. It has since been made completely unplayable, with all references to it being removed in the in-game data files.[3]
It featured homologated performance for the Sport Luxury division, aftermarket rims, and a unique widebody kit that cannot be put on the normal car. It would also award a 30% CR bonus and an additional 30% CR while racing at Prague (previously 7,500 CR bonus at said track).
