"With its unique combination of coupe-like lines and the same capabilities of the X5, an SUV that defies conventions for on-road handling, it’s perhaps no surprise that the X6 has undergone a similar M-Division transformation to the X5 M. Handling motive duties is the same excellent 4.4-liter twin-turbocharged V8, which provides 555 horsepower effortlessly and without drama and almost entirely without lag. That allows the X6 M to hit 60 mph in well under 5 seconds, an impressive feat for what can’t be denied is a large vehicle. Interestingly, unlike many other M-Division cars, the X6 handled fairly well, so only minor revisions to the suspension are required—mainly, stiffer versions of the same units. Incredibly, cornering performance is also superb. Remember the “E46” generation M3? Well, the X6 M can lap the notoriously difficult Nürburgring circuit faster than that very quick car. Surprised? You shouldn’t be, as BMW seems to be able to make any of their lineup go very quickly with a wave of the “M” wand."
—Official description

The 2010 BMW X6 M is the coupé variant of the BMW X5 M featured in Forza Motorsport 3 as part of the Summer Velocity Car Pack and Forza Motorsport 4.

Synopsis[]

The X6 M debuted in 2010 alongside the X5 M as one of BMW M's first ever performance SUV offerings. Touted as a 'Sport Activity Coupé', it is featured with a sloping roofline that marked a notable departure of traditional SUV styling.

Similar to the X5 M, it is powered by a twin-turbocharged 4.4 liter V8 engine that is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission.[1]

The original X6 M was replaced by the F86 model in 2015.
