Succeeding the 2010 Supersports, the 2017 Supersports is a W12-engined grand tourer based on the facelifted 2015 Bentley Continental GT. It is stated to be Bentley's most powerful and fastest production car ever, surpassing the 2013 Continental GT Speed.

The 2017 Continental Supersports sports a 6.0L (5,998 cc) twin-turbocharged W12 engine with a power rating of 700 hp (522 kW) and a torque rating of 750 ft·lb (1017 N·m). It comes equipped with a ZF 8-speed automatic gearbox with Quickshift, Block Shifting, and a wheel-mounted paddle shifter. The Continental Supersports also sports carbon ceramic brakes with improved cooling, 21-inch forged alloy wheels, an updated torque vectoring system from the Continental GT3-R, and an optional, fixed carbon rear wing, which the Forza versions of the Continental Supersports use.
Capable of 0 - 60 mph (97 km/h) in 3.5 seconds, 0 - 100 mph (161 km/h) in 7.9 seconds, and a top speed of over 209 mph (336 km/h), it is one of the fastest Bentley road cars ever made.
