The 2015 Chevrolet IndyCar is an open-wheel race car for use by Chevrolet in the 2015 IndyCar Series.
Forza Motorsport 6 features three variants of the Chevrolet IndyCar:
- 2015 Chevrolet #1 Team Penske IndyCar
- 2015 Chevrolet #67 CFH Racing IndyCar
- 2015 Chevrolet #9 Target Chip Ganassi Racing IndyCar
In May 2016, a variant of the Chevrolet #1 Team Penske IndyCar with a special livery was given out to players with a VIP Membership.
Complying with new IndyCar Series regulations introduced in 2012, the 2015 Chevrolet IndyCar uses a 2.2L twin-turbocharged DOHC V6 engine with power and torque rated at 641 hp (478 kW) and 289 ft·lb (392 N·m), respectively. Fuel delivery is done by way of fuel injection. The IndyCar's steering features variable rack and pinion without power assistance.

The Chevrolet IndyCar is an open-wheel race car meant for use on Indianapolis Motor Speedway's Oval Circuit, although it can be used on any track. It has astoundingly quick acceleration, reaching 100 mph (161 km/h) in under 5.5 seconds, as well as considerably sharp steering suitable for high speeds, especially on the aforementioned track. Despite the car's appearance, it handles only slightly worse than the Formula One cars. The IndyCar also has a high top speed for its class, capable of hitting 237 mph (382 km/h), higher than most X-Class cars in the Forza Motorsport series's Xbox One generation. The IndyCar also has very responsive and efficient braking, meaning it can go on longer before eventually having to slow down to cornering-appropriate speeds.
All models perform exactly the same with the #67 model only having a slightly longer braking distance by a tenth of a foot.
