"Targeted at Ferrari’s most spirited and sport-driving oriented clientele the 430 Scuderia provides the most thrilling ride of all 430’s. Development was focused on lightening the 430, and enough electronics to nearly dial in every aspect of handling and control. This berlinetta exemplifies how Formula One tech can be experienced in a production car."—Official description[1]
The 2007 Ferrari 430 Scuderia - abbreviated as "Ferrari 430 S" - is a pre-tuned variant of the Ferrari F430 by Ferrari.
It appears in Forza Motorsport 2 as part of the March Car Pack and in all subsequent main series titles, as well as in Forza Horizon 2 Presents Fast & Furious as an AI opponent.
It was featured as part of the VIP Membership Car Pack in Forza Motorsport 3, and was available as a Unicorn car in Forza Motorsport 4.
Synopsis[]
The 430 Scuderia is is a high-performance variation of the Ferrari F430 supercar, produced as the successor to the Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale. It is lighter by 220 lb (100 kg) and more powerful at 503 hp (375 kW) than the regular F430.
The increased power of the 430 Scuderia comes from a revised intake, exhaust, and an ion-sensing knock-detection system allowing for a higher compression ratio.
In addition to its weight-saving measures, the six-speed semi-automatic gearbox has gained improved "Superfast" (known as "Superfast2"), a software for faster 60 millisecond shifting times. A new traction control system is combined with the F1-Trac traction and stability control with the E-Diff electronic differential.
