The 2014 Ferrari California T is an updated version of the Ferrari California convertible grand tourer. It appears in Forza Motorsport 6 and all subsequent Forza main titles.
Characteristics
The "T" in the California T's name stands for "Turbo", a technology Ferrari has used for the first time in 27 years after the Ferrari F40 supercar in 1987. The California T uses a new 3.9L (3,855 cc) twin-turbocharged V8 engine, known internally as the F154 BB. The California T's new V8 engine produces 552 hp (412 kW) at 7,500 rpm and 557 ft·lb (755 N·m) of torque at 4,750 rpm.
Driving the rear wheels is a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox with different gear ratios from the 2008 California. The California T features a new front fascia with similar styling to the Ferrari F12berlinetta, a revised rear end, and a new interior. It also reduces turbo lag by the way of smaller turbos and a variable boost management system.

Driving Characteristics
The Ferrari California T features improved performance over its predecessor, with its revised dual-clutch transmission yielding a faster 0-60 mph time of 3.5 seconds, a slightly lighter chassis and improved tires allowing the California T to handle better than its predecessor, and a more powerful engine yielding better overall acceleration and speed. The California T can reach a top speed of 203 mph (327 km/h), making it faster than its real-life rendition's top speed of 196 mph (315 km/h). The California T, on the other hand, is a modern entry-level Ferrari car, meaning that it can only compete with cars like the Aston Martin DB11 and Jaguar F-Type R Coupé and not the Ferrari 458 Italia.
Trivia
- As is the case with the 2008 California, the player can observe the California T's roof being deployed and retracted in Forzavista.
