Built on the convertible Jaguar F-Type, the 2016 Jaguar F-Type Project 7 is a limited-edition, soft-top convertible, high-performance variant of Jaguar's F-Type. It pays tribute to the legendary Jaguar D-Type and is touted as Jaguar's "most powerful production car" to date, with a 567 HP (575 PS) supercharged V8 engine.

The Jaguar F-Type Project 7 debuted in Forza Motorsport 6 and has returned for Forza Horizon 3.

Description Edit

Look at it. The speed hump behind the driver’s head pays tribute to the legendary D-Type. Listen to it. The crackling, burbling rasp of the exhaust is the only thing that may encourage you to lift off the throttle. Otherwise this blown V8’s induction and roar is all one really needs. Fortunately, for the already sold out 250 models produced by the Jaguar Land Rover Special Vehicle Operations unit, there is much more to appreciate. Project 7 is lighter with more grip than its predecessor. The near 100 pounds of weight loss over the F-Type R come from a fixed wing and a bikini top. Suspension changes and sticky rubber make the Project 7 an improved choice for track day enjoyment. So sure, look at it, listen to it; there’s plenty to enjoy. But most importantly drive it and find out exactly what this big cat is made of.
