Lexus is a North American car manufacturer that appears in every Forza title except Forza Motorsport 7 and Forza Horizon 4.

Description

In 1989, Toyota Motor Corporation of Japan introduced its Lexus line of luxury cars first to the U.S. market, then to the United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia a year later. The V8-powered LS 400 and the mid-size ES 250 set the tone for the new brand with excellent build quality, value, and performance. Lexus has fleshed out the line with the addition of sport coupe and sport utility vehicle models. Lexus cars have enjoyed major success in North America, and were offered for sale in Japan for the first time in 2005. Lexus successfully entered the world of sports car and endurance racing in 2004 with its Daytona Prototype, powered by a competition version of the company's V8.

Trivia

  • Lexus appears as a North American manufacturer in the Forza series despite being headquartered in Nagoya, Japan in real life, probably due to Lexus being introduced in the United States first.
  • The Lexus RCF GT3 was found as a leaked car in the audio data files for Forza Motorsport 7 on December 14, 2017. It has yet to be released in the game.[2]
