The 2015 Porsche #19 Porsche Team 919 Hybrid is a Le Mans Prototype 1-Hybrid racing car that appears in Forza Motorsport 6 and will appear in Forza Motorsport 7.

The Porsche 919 Hybrid bears a 2.0L turbocharged gasoline V4 engine paired with a 400 hp (298 kW) electric motor for a total power output of 900 hp (671 kW). The car is rear-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive, the latter via the kinetic energy recovery system (KERS) on the front axle, and it uses a Porsche-developed seven-speed sequential, hydraulically-activated racing transmission. The 919 has a torque output of 1100 ft·lb (1491 N·m).

The Porsche 919 Hybrid can do 0-60 mph in 2.1 seconds, 0-124 mph in 4.8 seconds, and a top speed greater than 211 mph (340 km/h).

Description

"After a 16-year absence from prototype-class racing, Porsche made a grand return to the FIA World Endurance Championship in 2014. While the 2014 car saw some success (finishing third behind the dominant Audis), Porsche came back with a new car sporting nearly 90 percent new parts for 2015. The #19 919 Hybrid won the 2015 24 Hours of Le Mans driven by Earl Bamber, Nico Hulkenberg, and Nick Tandy. This squad of talented drivers perfectly complemented the 2.0-liter V4 turbocharged motor that makes 500 hp, coupled with a hybrid system that adds 400 more horses. The 919 comes in at the class minimum weight giving it a further advantage. As the winningest brand in racing history, Porsche has brought nothing but the best to ensure it keeps that title."

Performance

The Porsche #19 Porsche Team 919 Hybrid is the second highest-ranked P-Class car in the game. As expected of a Le Mans Prototype 1-Hybrid race car, the 919 Hybrid has among the best acceleration, launch, braking, and handling in the game. It mainly rivals the 2014 Audi #2 Team Joest R18 e-tron quattro and Peugeot #9 Peugeot Sport Total 908.

In terms of drag race usability, while not the fastest in a drag race, the Porsche 919 Hybrid is the fastest Le Mans Prototype racer in terms of drag racing capabilities, beating the Toyota #8 Toyota Racing TS040 HYBRID.
