You can help the Forza Wiki by adding to this article.The Porsche 911 GT3 Cup (996) is a racing car that appears in Forza Motorsport and all Xbox 360 titles of the Motorsport series although it is only available through the Porsche Expansion add-on in Forza Motorsport 4.
The 996 was replaced by the 997 in 2005.
Variants
The 911 GT3-RSR appears in five livery variants:

- 2003 Porsche #22 3R-Racing 911 GT3 Cup (Forza Motorsport and Forza Motorsport 2)
- 2005 Porsche #55 Applied Materials 911 GT3 Cup (Forza Motorsport 2 & Forza Motorsport 3)
- 2005 Porsche #66 AXA Racing 911 GT3 Cup (Forza Motorsport 2 - Forza Motorsport 4)
- 2006 Porsche #81 Synergy Racing 911 GT3 Cup (Forza Motorsport 2)
Description
"The #66 AXA Racing 911 GT3 Cup claimed Porsche’s 54th class win and its 28th victory at Daytona. The car was driven by Americans Kevin Buckler and Michael Schrom, as well as Porsche racing stars Timo Bernhard and Jörg Bergmeister. The #66 911 GT3 Cup car lead the class for 14 of Daytona’s 24 hours, including the last seven. Sponsored by TRG and AXA, the car swept the GT Class podium at the Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona. While the car ran flawlessly it did suffer some body damage on both rear fenders, had a flat and had a cracked windshield during the last 10 hours.
