"The Ruf RGT-8 has been lightened from nose to tail. To even the strictest of enthusiasts, this is not sacrilege, this is improving on perfection. This Ruf is a true supercar, with an ultra-low center of gravity and off-the-charts speed potential."
—Official description (Forza Horizon)[1]

The 2011 RUF RGT-8 is a rear-engined supercar by RUF featured in Forza Motorsport 4 as part of the Launch Bonus Car Pack, and in Forza Horizon.

Synopsis[]

The RGT-8 is a special version of the second generation RUF RGT, which is based on the Porsche 997. It is powered by a completely new, RUF-designed 4.5L V8 engine instead of RGT's 3.8L F6. This makes the RGT-8 the first production V8-powered Porsche 911.

In 2012, RUF revealed the new generation RGT-8 that based on the new 991 chassis. Its engine is the same 4.5L V8 as before.
