Rio de Janeiro, also known as Circuito do Rio de Janeiro, is an environment featured in Forza Motorsport, Forza Motorsport 6, Forza Motorsport 6: Apex, and Forza Motorsport 7. It appears as the showcase track of Forza Motorsport 6.
Based on the real life city of Rio de Janeiro, Circuito do Rio de Janeiro takes racers through coastal roads with a view of the ocean and into the city of Rio de Janeiro, complete with scenic views of the city, Sugarloaf Mountain, and the Christ the Redeemer.
The Xbox One and Windows 10 PC releases of the Forza Motorsport series feature a different rendition of Rio de Janeiro, with 5 track layouts, each having reverse versions:
- Full Circuit
- National Circuit
- Coast Loop
- Mountain Circuit
- Mini Circuit
|Full Circuit (FM)||Full Circuit||National Circuit||Coast Loop||Mountain Circuit||Mini Circuit|
|Distance||2.26 mi (3.64 km)||3.83 mi (6.16 km)||2.84 mi (4.57 km)||1.32 mi (2.13 km)||1.01 mi (1.63 km)||0.68 mi (1.09 km)|
- Going too fast through the straights is not recommended, as many high speed straights are immediately followed by sudden sharp corners.
- Some of Rio de Janeiro's roads are narrow, making clean racing more difficult.
