About

Forza Motorsport 5 is an upcoming racing game being developed by Turn 10 Studios and published by Microsoft Game Studios. It is the sixth game in the Forza series (including Forza Horizon). Like previous main series Forza entries, it will be a simulation style racer, forgoing the open world, arcade feel of Horizon. It is an Xbox One exclusive as well as a launch title for the system.

The hosts of the BBC television program Top Gear are confirmed to be doing narration work for the game.

Drivatar

Forza 5 introduces Drivatar, a cloud-based artificial intelligence that is capable of adapting to the gameplay style of the player. It gathers information by recording the driving of the player and translates it into Drivatars. Players can improve the skill level of their Drivatars by allowing them to sit on their passenger seats. Players can also quit the game and let their Drivatar compete in online games.

Cars

Forza Motorsport 5 will feature 200 drivable vehicles, a lower number than Forza 4, but each car is built from the ground up and features a fully rendered Forzavista experience. The McLaren P1 is the game's cover car and has been prominently featured in videos and promotion for the game. Check out a full list of the available vehicles here. Ten additional vehicles will be released each month as paid DLC.

Tracks

Forza 5 will feature tracks, including Spa, Bathurst, and Le Mans. Noticeable absences include the Nurburgring and Infineon Raceway/Sears Point. Additional tracks are rumored to be available for future purchase as well, though this has not been confirmed. A full list of the available circuits can be found here.

Forzavista

Forzavista replaces the Autovista system, extending the feature to every vehicle in the game. Forzavista gives players a close up look at the cars, allowing them to open doors, hoods, and trunks, and explore the interior and other features of the vehicles. Additional information and trivia about the cars is explained via a narrator.
